Build and Hosting

It all starts with SvelteKit. I'm using Svelte 5 for the entire website. It's hosted on a Hetzner VPS which also runs the Anubis, Traefik, and Umami for the website.

Performance Choices

I've chosen to go with minimal-to-no JS. Because Google must die, fonts are vendored. This does limit speed somewhat, but alas, I'll take that hit over giving Google any more data.

Colors

The color palette meets or exceeds WCAG AA, according to my math. If I'm proven wrong, I'll fix it.

Policies

Privacy, data protection, personal, etc

The tracking is minimal; Umami is cookieless, and abides by DNT. If you're curious as to exactly what it collects, feel free to read their documentation.

Anubis uses a single cookie and a proof-of-work challenge to protect against bots and crawlers.

And any data that is collected is stored privately in Europe, on Postgres, on some platters under some stairs. And in a metal box or two.

Use uBlock Origin. Protect yourself from the piranhas of the web. Meta, Google, Amazon, all of them must die. OpenAI, Anthropic, "xAI"... they all deserve the same fate. Alas, I am but one girl. A lonely girl, hiding away on the web. Writing my words into the void.
